1.Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information collected automatically, and information we receive from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Contact & account details — your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
  • Lead & inquiry details — information you submit through our forms (for example, the class or program you're interested in) when you book a free class or reach out to us.
  • Membership & class information — your enrollment, class registrations, attendance, and bookings.
  • Health & fitness information — information you choose to share to participate safely, such as fitness goals, injuries or health conditions, and body-composition results from optional InBody scans.
  • Payment information — billing details processed through our payment provider (see Payments). We do not store full card or bank numbers.
  • Communications — messages, emails, texts, and feedback you send us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits, using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies & tracking).

Information from third parties

We may receive information from social media platforms (for example, when you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram), advertising partners, and our scheduling, payment, and marketing providers.

2.How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and manage our classes, memberships, scheduling, and services;
  • Respond to your inquiries and book your free first class or appointments;
  • Process payments and manage billing, membership, and our online store;
  • Send you administrative messages (confirmations, schedule changes, account and billing notices);
  • Send marketing and promotional communications you've opted into, and personalize what we share with you;
  • Support your safety and program goals (for example, tailoring coaching based on information you share);
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services;
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3.Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand how our site and ads perform. This may include analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as the Meta/Facebook pixel).

You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Note that some features of the site may not work properly without them. To opt out of certain analytics and interest-based advertising, you can also use tools like the Google Analytics Opt-out and your device's ad-tracking controls.

4.Text Messaging (SMS/MMS) & Phone Calls

When you provide your phone number — for example, by submitting a form or signing up as a member — you agree that we (and our messaging providers acting on our behalf) may contact you by phone call and by text message (SMS/MMS) regarding your inquiry, bookings, account, classes, and, where you've opted in, promotions and offers.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You don't have to agree to marketing texts to buy our services.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt out anytime by replying STOP to any text message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5.How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers. We share information with trusted vendors who perform services for us, such as our customer-relationship/marketing platform and forms (HighLevel/LeadConnector), class scheduling and booking (Studio Pro), payment processing and our online store (Square), website and email/SMS delivery, and analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta).
  • Legal & safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of MFA Fitness, our members, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction. When you ask us to, such as connecting you with a partner offer.

6.Marketing Communications & Your Choices

We may send you news, offers, and updates we think you'll find relevant. You can opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you non-promotional messages about your account, bookings, or transactions.

7.Health & Fitness Information

Some information you share with us relates to your health or fitness (for example, injuries, conditions, goals, or InBody scan results). We use this information only to serve you safely and effectively, and we treat it as confidential. MFA Fitness is a fitness studio, not a healthcare provider, and we are generally not a "covered entity" under HIPAA. Our classes and coaching are not medical advice — please consult your physician before starting any exercise program.

8.Payments

Membership payments, drop-ins, and merchandise purchases are processed by our payment provider, Square, through our online store. Payments are handled on Square's secure platform and are subject to Square's own privacy policy. We do not store complete credit-card or bank-account numbers on our systems.

9.Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, in both paper and electronic form, and we limit access to authorized personnel and providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10.Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your membership and records, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

11.Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain marketing or sales/sharing of personal information. To review or update your information, or to exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

12.Children's Privacy

Our website and fitness services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. Where a minor participates in a program, we collect information from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13.Third-Party Links & Services

Our site and member resources link to third-party services we don't control — for example, YouTube (on-demand class videos), our Facebook group, Square (store), Google Drive (workout plans), and partner offers such as supplements. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.

14.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our website and services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
